Deep underneath in the frozen world below a glacier is how I prefer to spend my summers.  There are hundreds of miles of passageways like this in Alaska, almost all of which have never been photographed before.  Here we made our way by headlamp in the darkness and decided to use our own lights to create the impression of illumination from the outside.
