A once in a lifetime (or perhaps several lifetimes) show of Aurora Australis over the Fjords in Patagonia (one of the stormiest and cloudiest places on earth) during a G5/KP9+ event May 10, 2024. This is from our camp at an extremely remote location that takes 2.5 days from the nearest town to reach by boat, a wilderness beach filled with icebergs. We were incredibly fortunate to have had a clear sky the night this event occurred. Photo © copyright by Marc Adamus.
